Roller Drivers - Full Job Description
Established since 1994 , Dave Power Plant (Cork) Ltd., are looking to hire seasonal Part-Time and Full-Time Roller Operators to work at local authority job sites in the East Cork and North Cork areas.
Overview
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 – 42.5 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
The Roller Operator will drive and operate a Bomag BW 213D-5 single drum roller and/or a Bomag BW 24RH PTR roller for various small road repair projects throughout the East Cork and North Cork areas. Job sharing is a possibility for this job.
This position is seasonal and expected to start in June 2024 until the end of September 2024.
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean Category B driving licence (or an equivalent driving license from another country which is valid in Ireland)
- Fluency in spoken English
Preferred Experience
- The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years previous experience operating machinery
- Previous Tractor experience preferred
- Current Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificates, however, these can be organised if the interested candidate is successful
